The Senior Vice President of ACS Solutions, Sonia Sardana, has been recognized by Staffing Industry Analysts with a spot on their annual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Influencers list. The list highlights 47 pioneering professionals in the United States and Canada who are advancing diversity and driving change in the workforce solutions ecosystem.

Sonia Sardana has been passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion since the start of her career. As a teenager, Sardana tutored young women in math and science while serving as a YWCA mentor for programs designed to introduce young women to careers in STEAM. “Women and girls are very curious. They want to learn, but it’s about creating more ‘aha’ moments for them,” Sonia says. Continuing her commitment to diversity, she initiated ACS’s pledge to direct 10% of incremental profits from new and existing customers in the Georgia market to women in Technology.

As a senior leader at ACS Solutions, one of the largest diversity-owned staffing firms in the US, Sonia’s guidance, abilities, and efforts have heightened the company’s success. The firm has a current revenue of $1.8 billion and presence in over 40 locations worldwide. As a prominent organization, ACS Solutions is well-positioned to lead diversity and inclusion efforts in several ways, including through supplier diversity. Last year, under Sonia’s leadership, the company spent over $100 million on diversity-owned firms as part of their commitment to increase supplier diversity spend. The company will soon launch a new supplier registration portal to encourage suppliers to register and join their diverse and inclusive subcontractor network.
